Camp Hallawasa is a E-Free Church camp for churches in the
Black Hills and Western South Dakota. Hallawasa derives its name from the
phrase “Hallelujah What A Savior!” At this
point we are active for three week long summer camps (4th – 6th
grade, Junior High and
Senior High)
plus a winter retreat for High School. To
keep costs low, the camp is run by a group of volunteers each summer. We have
seen many children come to know the Lord as their savior, and others grow in
their commitment through this ministry.
All camps begin with check-in and tent assignments from
3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on the camp start date. Camp ends at 10:00 a.m.
on camp end dates. This year camp will be at Camp Volunteer--3 miles South
of Custer, SD just off Hwy 89 near the Custer airport.
