I found the outline below helpful because it shows the placing of these parables within Matthew's overall and unfolding story of Matthew's rejected Messiah.  This outline is based upon John F. Walvoord’s commentary, Matthew—Thy Kingdom Come, but follows similar I’ve found in Wycliffe Bible Commentary, the Ryrie Study Bible, and even my Thompson Chain-Reference Bible.
